Ingredients:

  • 350 g of wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 170g butter, softened
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g plain yogurt

  • 1 glass of orange juice

Method:

1. Work the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth.

2. Combine the eggs, yogurt and flour. Finally, add a packet of yeast.

3. If the dough is too “compact” you can add up to 1 cup of orange juice.

4. Add the diced apples and place the mixture into a buttered baking pan and sprinkle with a little flour.

Arrange the apple slices to decorate the cake.

5. Brush the surface of the cake with orange marmalade and garnish with a little olive oil before baking.

6. Bake at 200 ° C for 30 minutes.
