Villa Campestri at Beyond Extra Virgin V with the system OliveToLive

Promoting the knowledge of olive oil quality has always been our philosophy! Villa Campestri is not only in fact the first Olive Oil Resort in the world, capable of giving its guests sensory experiences through the discovery of Olive Oil quality and its uses, but our Oletoteca® has also created the patent OliveToLive: a strategy of re-awareness of Olive Oil culture. On the tables of our Restaurant L’Olivaia you will find the three glass ampoules with three different oils of high quality to taste and combine with your food: thus it is possible to touch the range of different characteristics of each individual oil. And thanks to our invention OliveToLive machine, you can keep the oil perfectly intact.

OliveToLive system will be studied in the fifth edition of Beyond Extra Virgin, an international conference to be held from 8 to June 10 in Cordoba, Spain. Organized by 3E, which brings together producers of oil in the world of excellence and which also includes the Association of Georgofili and the Universities of Florence and Davis, the conference is dedicated to all those involved in olive oil quality.

Paolo Pasquali, owner of Villa Campestri and  member of 3E, will explain to an international audience the system designed to promote excellence in olive oil, through tastings, the sensory experiences, the Olive Oil Menu. A system that has landed in the U.S. thanks to the Culinary Institute of America, the leading Institute for professional Chefs.

As with wine, which differ depending on the type of grapes and growing, even in the oil quality are the same differences: it’s what you can learn in our tasting experience, which are made to try different oils. As a wine is not suitable for every dish, even oil has its combinations that can be discovered in our Olive Oil Menu.

If you want to take a voyage to find the olive oil quality, Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort is the place for you!
