It’s said that one shouldn’t brag or boast of awards and achievements, but when it comes to the olive oil of Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort, we just can’t help it. We must tell you, and all who love our oil, about our olive oil and the satisfaction such awards give us. Just this week the daily newspaper Nazione published an article enumerating all the reasons for the RotarOlio award that the Mugello Rotary club gives for the region’s best oil each year. We are bursting with pride that this year’s award came to us, the entire team at Villa Campestri.
The ceremony took place in the beautiful Castello di Villa Novo, in Barberino, where the Mugello Rotary Club gathered with its guests. Paolo Pasquali, the owner of Villa Campestri, spoke about the awareness that has overtaken the culture of olive oil, among the experts and less expert. He presented his new OliveToLive design. Guests then went on to an official tasting, the single true path to divining the soul of of Villa Campestri and its olive oil.
