Photo diary part 1 – 2013 Olive Oil Harvest

Olive harvest time is an exciting time at Villa Campestri. While our doors might be closed for guests, you can be assured that we are working very hard to do what we do best. Produce quality olive oil that makes our olive oil resort a stand out star in Tuscany.

These past weeks, we have been tediously working, collecting and gathering this year’s crop and we are super excited to share this photo diary of our 2013 olive oil harvest done with the help of our family and staff.

Fun facts: Our olive oil plantation covers 5 hectares and is cultivated principally with the Moraiolo, Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino and Correggiolo olive varieties, and in smaller quantities also with Piangente and Leccio del Corno.

Ready for an olive-based adventure? Andiamo!

All of these beautiful olives are what helps us produce a result which is is organically produced extra-virgin olive oil of the highest quality.
