The first Oleoteca® in Italy, founded in January 2000 at Campestri, in the Mugello Valley, 20 miles North of Florence had the aim of enhancing the Olive Oil Experience.
Olive Oil has always suffered from the lack of a Center bringing together all the different aspects of its cultural tradition.
The Oleoteca® satisfies consumers’ previously unmet need for information about Olive Oil.
The Oleoteca’s aims are to: 1) Promote knowledge about Olive Oil; 2) Explore commercially the aesthetic value and mythological roots of Olive history; 3) Exalt the excellence of Olive Oil in Gastronomy. |
