The museum of sacred art here is named after Beato Angelico, and on a walk not far from the center, in the suburb of Vespignana, along a country road, you’ll come upon Casa Giotto, the birthplace of the artist that has also become an appropriate museum dedicated to his life. Not far away is the bridge Ragnaia, where Cimabue allegedly spotted Giotto drawing his sheep on a rock and took him from there to his workshop.
