Playing golf over the hills of Mugello in Tuscany

If you love golf, do not miss the opportunity to play in a charming and natural scenery as that of the hills of Mugello, in Tuscany. At about 18 km from Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort is in fact one of the most famous golf courses in the region: the Poggio dei Medici Golf Club, opened in 1995.The Golf par 73 has 18 holes and was designed by Baldovino Dassù, famous golfer, and the architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti on the basis of the standards of the United States GolfAssociation.
Submitted by Condé Nast Traveller’s in the list of the best golf courses, the Poggio dei Medici Golf Club hosted the Ladies Italian Open from 1999 to 2003 and every year takes place the Mugello Tuscany Open, the first leg of the Pro Tour circuit Pilsner Urquell, included in the calendar of the European Challenge Tour.

The field allows 4 different locations to test your skill as players; the beauty of the surrounding hills where you can admire the historic houses and castles will allow you to obtain the peace you need for a good game.
