Discover the Mugello by moutain bike with Villa Campestri paths

On Sunday, June 19 don’t miss the Ciclotour in Mugello, cycling race valid for the Italian Championship Cycling: more than 800 cyclists will compete on three different routes from Scarperia, passing through Barberino di Mugello, Borgo San Lorenzo, reaching the Futa Pass. Mugello has always been a land suitable for those who love cycling: the combination of natural beauty and ancient castles allows you to enjoy breathtaking landscapes to ride your bike in our paths, developing into more complex and competitive levels. For this reason Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort has decided to make available for free to its guests, some mountain bikes; also Roberto Becattini, guide specializes in mountain bike tours, has created paths for our customers.

Becattini studied, in fact, Mountain Bike Trails“, three paths, with different levels of difficulty, so all our customers, experienced cyclists, amateurs, or whole families can enjoy the beauty of the Mugello on two wheels.

1) Path Giotto – Level of complexity: easy, a walk of about half a day in Borgo San Lorenzo and Ronta, among green hills.

2) Route Beato Angelico – Level of complexity: medium: half-day course that winds through the beautiful castles of the Medici Family.

3) The Hills Route de’ Medici – Level of complexity: hard: the route more challenging, which lasts a whole day. A little challenge for the more experienced.
