Every year Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort opens its new season afresh from our winter rest period. This year the doors open on March 25th, barely a month away.
We’re off! Time does indeed seem to fly, and the days we’ve been closed seem to have already gone. Like every year, we took the time to refreshen, clean, modernize and in every way make the Villa more beautiful. For our guests, only the best!
Thus has come the time to re-open our doors: rooms are renovated, ready to receive our guests and their families; the restaurant L’Olivaia is back as the heart and soul of the resort, this year with the additional help of Grand Chef Luigi Incrocci (whom we’ve already introduced here, with an interview you’ll find fascinating). All our activities that you’ve loved in the past will be here to enliven your days at Villa Campestri.
On March 25th Villa Campestri will immediately be welcoming those who have chosen to spend the Easter weekend with us to enjoy the first breath of spring. At the same time guests will be arriving for the new edition of AmorOlio, with Chef Michele Forgione and the well-known Mediterranean Diet food writer Nancy Harmon Jenkins, all ready to enjoy a week of good food and great discovery.
For us every year, every new opening, is a great emotion: to reopen our doors, to carefully lay out our buffet for your grand breakfast, to offer you the best of local Tuscan products for your light lunch, and to create the finest for your dinner. And of course we offer the greatest possibility to discover the best extra virgin olive oil in our regular tasting sessions.
It makes Villa Campestri a special experience: the beautiful connection we have wih all our guests. Come along, we’re waiting for you from March 25th, in the Mugello.
One of the most meaningful experiences during a trip to Tuscany, beyond visiting art cities or iconic landscapes, is connecting with everyday local life. That connection often happens in village markets, artisan workshops, and small food shops where products are made for the people who live there year-round, not just for visitors. In this guide, […]

Anyone visiting Florence for the first time imagines a stay right in the historic center, surrounded by museums, piazzas, and narrow cobblestone streets. It takes only a day, however, to realize that Florence is wonderful to explore yet challenging to inhabit. Among the rolling hills of the Mugello, centuries‑old olive trees stand as living presences, deeply rooted in both time and landscape. Their twisted trunks, shaped by wind and sun, tell silent stories of rural life, patience, and renewal. In Tuscany, the olive tree embodies the quiet strength of nature: resilient, enduring, and generous. At Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort, […]
In Tuscany, some words taste like freshly pressed olive oil and warm bread; others echo bedtime stories whispered by grandparents. They’re simple expressions, but rich in meaning, full of identity, character, and that deep-rooted spirit of a land that doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is. During your stay at Villa Campestri […]

It lingers in the cool shade of cobbled alleys that still echo with generations past. And it gathers in the squares of small villages, where days unfold in quiet conversation over market stalls […]
