Tripadvisor; an unexpectedly valuable resource for Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort
In 2013 who hasn’t heard of TripAdvisor? Surely very few people. It has become a really vital and extremely useful resource for travellers around the world, and despite having a number of direct competitors (Yelp, G+, big online travel agents such as Expedia and Booking, and many others). It probably is the largest single traveller community in the world.
Our very first review on TripAdvisor dates back to 2004, and it was wonderful!
We even like to think that it brought us luck for the following years. Probably, just like everyone else, it took us a while to realise what an invaluable resource TripAdvisor was for us. The immediate benefits to travellers all over the world as a way of listening in on other people’s opinions was easy to understand. But as the years have gone by we have discovered how to listen, learn and grow through some wonderful insight that in those pre-TripAdvisor days simply wouldn’t have been available to us.
