The Christmas market in Piazza Santa Croce is not the only Christmas market in Florence. Just on December 8th, for the feast of the Immaculate Conception, the “Florence Noel” in Piazza Santissima Annunziata is inaugurated in Florence.
The “Florence Noel” is definitely the ideal choice for those who want to spend December 8 in the company of the family. For the children it is set up the House of Santa Claus, where the little ones can have fun, be photographed with Santa Claus and can send the gift letters in the post office set up for them.
For those who want to fully enjoy the Christmas spirit tradition, on the 8th December the big Christmas tree is lit in Piazza del Duomo, complete with an official ceremony. At the same time, the Nativity of Santa Maria del Fiore is set up with magnificent terracotta statues from Impruneta.
