We are so used to Hollywood films and proposals to get married on a grand scale that maybe when our time comes we are in a bit of trouble.

Florence
If you are in Florence and are ready for your proposal, we want to recommend two special places.
1) Piazzale Michelangelo.
From this beautiful viewpoint you can admire the whole panorama of Florence and at sunset, especially in spring and in summer, the atmosphere is simply magical for the colors and sounds. Get ready to receive lots of applause!
2) The towers of Florence.
Many hotels in the center of Florence have an ancient medieval tower and on the top floor they house a terrace, also open to the public outside, with a view across Florence. You can, for example, agree with the bartender for a special bottle or to immortalize the moment with a video!
Florence is the capital of love, every little street and square are still very romantic but if you are looking for something truly unforgettable, think about these two options 🙂
Lucca
Lucca is a small town in Tuscany famous for its elegance and its original fortified walls that enclose the city. The fortified walls are accessible on foot or by bicycle and also host beautiful lawns for picnics.
If you are a sporty couple, why not opt for a more original request?
After a nice bike ride admiring the view from the fortified walls you can always stop and put yourself in the famous proposal position!
Livorno
Livorno is not a famous tourist destination like other Tuscan cities but it is no less beautiful!
