Instagramming from Mugello: Our 3 Latest Favorites

It’s no doubt that one of the best ways to discover a place is through photography. We personally really enjoy the app instagram to see what people think about us (tagging #villacampestri), or better yet to see wonderful photos from all over Tuscany.

To join in on the photo sharing love, we wanted to blog about three photos from our Mugello area of Tuscany by instagrammers showing us ‘their Italy’. From dramatic skies to strange street food, there is so much to see and experience in this place we call home. Here are our latest top pics.

1. ‘On the Road’ With Luca and his Nikon. We loved this photo along the highway towards Barberino di Mugello, the shades of color and clouds really are representative of these January days in Tuscany.

2. Snow Day. It might look like a scene from Alaska or Northern Europe but the Mugello area of Tuscany tends to get a fair amount of snow in the winter. This photo was taken by Gianni.

3. Who Knew ‘Brains’ Were This Good? You might be a little disturbed at the thought of eating ‘cervello’ or ‘brains’ in English (cow or sheep) but it actually happens to be a local delicacy, think Tuscan street food.  Trippadvisors is nostalgic for some that he enjoyed in Mugello.

As always we want to see your instagram, if you are photographing in Tuscany, add #villacampestri and we will take a look, and feature the best ones from time to time in our blog. Until then have a great weekend from the Villa Campestri family!
