Like every year, October 31st arrives with its magic charge, bringing with it the most “monstrous” party of autumn. Discover with us what to do for Halloween!
The origins of Halloween date back to a Celtic pagan rite held on October 31st in which the end of summer and the beginning of winter is celebrated.
This moment of transition between summer and winter was considered a “magic moment” in which the border between the world of the living and the world of the dead thinned so much as to allow the dead to return to earth.
Over the years this Celtic tradition has changed until it reaches the modern imagination in which October 31 is the night of the dead where everything is allowed. Thus the figures of ghosts, skeletons, witches and other creatures of darkness are born.
The Halloween recipes are perfect to give free rein to the imagination and entertain the little ones.
With a bit of imagination even the simplest recipes turn into Halloween treats, such as delicious meringues can become cute ghosts.
It will be sufficient to prepare a classic meringue with sugar and beaten egg whites.
Once the meringues have been prepared to make the ghosts you need a pastry bag to form three balls of different sizes. Stack the three meringue balls from the largest to the smallest. The latter will be the one that represents the ghost’s head, therefore, to complete the work it will be necessary to create eyes and mouth with chocolate nuggets.
In a few minutes the cute meringue ghosts will be ready. An excellent idea to celebrate Halloween.
When October 31st approaches every year, the recurring question is: what to do for Halloween?
In fact, every year the activities for the Halloween party increase more and more, including games, masked dancing and much more.
Florence is ready to host ghosts, zombies, vampires, witches and ghosts of all kinds. There are so many things to do in the city for Halloween, here is a selection of the best initiatives planned for October 31st.
