Every year thousands of fans arrive in Mugello from all over the world to follow and support their champion. This year the event could be postponed or canceled and many wonder if the Mugello 2020 GP will be Virtual or on Track? Discover the details with us.
2020 Mugello GP: Virtual or Track MotoGP?
Due to the Coronavirus emergency, we still don’t know if the MotoGP World Championship will really start in Jerez in May, or there will be other postponements. The season opening could be held in Spain and to follow the stages of Le Mans and Mugello.
According to the latest updates, it seems difficult for the 2020 motorcycle season to start on the Andalusian track, which would host the World Championship on the weekend of May 3. The start of the season may be postponed to the Catalunya GP scheduled for 5-7 June.
As an alternative to real races there is also the possibility that the Moto GP 2020 can be fought virtually by the greatest two-wheeled champions.

If the 2020 MotoGP does not postpone, which is unlikely, then the official calendar would be followed, starting right from the appointment of 3 May in Spain and arriving at the Mugello stage on 31 May.

Virtual MotoGP of Mugello 2020
To date, however, the 2020 MotoGP calendar has stopped due to the coronavirus emergency.
Not knowing yet with certainty the official race start date, some of the best drivers in the world have decided to challenge each other virtually.
In fact, the MotoGP riders have not lost the desire to race and 10 of them will battle in the Virtual Grand Prix of Mugello through the MotoGP 19 video game, the same used by professional players in MotoGP.
This special event can be followed comfortably from the sofa at home, enjoying the thrill of the races, even if in the virtual version.
We all hope that the MotoGP 2020 can also regularly resume on the asphalt in order to welcome riders and enthusiasts in the Mugello as every year.
