This has been quite a spring for us at Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort, in addition to greeting our first arrivals this season, we have been hard at work cultivating our centuries old park. It exists not only as a place of relaxation and refuge for our guests and our family, but also as a place where we grow our own organic vegetables, make honey and as a roaming ground for our chickens, hens and of course Gateau, the ‘fluffy’ addition to the family.
We do yoga here, we have a bamboo grove for massages and so much moe. The mixed vegetation includes a variety of trees (chestnut, oak, wild cherry, maple, alder, hazel, and hornbeam trees) as addition to our floral family of peonies, roses and much more.
We encourage guests or even just curious visitors to come and have a look, it’s the ideal green space to sketch or paint Tuscany, have a drink before dinner at our restaurant or even just to curl up with a good book. There are four different trails for those who want to walk off their lunch, including one that offers a stunning view overlooking the Mugello valley, and one that leads you to crystal clear springs at Monte Giovi. You can check out more details on all that our park has to offer here.
In order to (literally) show you what’s been blooming at Campestri, enjoy this little gallery of recent photos from our park.

During your stay at Villa Campestri […]
