An Agritourism and Hotel near the Mugello Circuit
The history of the Mugello Autodrome, which dates back to 1914, entered its first golden age in the twenties, when the leading motor sportsmen of the day challenged each other in official competition.
Nowadays the Mugello International Autodrome attracts attention not only because of the Grand Prix of Italy, but thanks also to the fact that the track is open to the public, giving those who wish to experience the thrill of driving on a major international autodrome the chance to do so.
The allure of the Mugello district is not limited to its splendid natural setting and rich history of folklore!
Today the area is known, first and foremost, for one of the chief attractions in the eyes of car and motorcycle racing aficionados: the Mugello International Autodrome track, where the Grand Prix of Italy is held, a must-see event for motor racing enthusiasts.
In addition to the historical Renaissance, Villa Campestri offers you your own personal rebirth, made of pleasures, emotions and wellbeing: a special mix of the beauty of the setting, the warmth of your welcome, and of the quality of the service that we offer - both attentive and friendly.
The original layout of the villa has been preserved and the bedrooms are located where they were in the renaissance period: some in the villa itself, and others in the adjoining farmhouse and the old dairyhouse opposite. They offer wonderful views of the surrounding parkland.
All rooms have telephones with external line, minibar, satellite TV, hairdryer, vanity mirror, a complimentary set of beauty products and comfortable slippers.
The Mugello International Racing Circuit at Scarperia hosts over the first weekend in June the most important motorcycle racing event in Italy: the Italian Grand Prix class 125cc, 250cc, MotoGP (competing respectively on 20, 21 and 23 laps). But the racetrack, owned by Ferrari, hosts from late March to early October several other motorcycling and car racing events, as well as F1 tests of the Ferrari and other racing teams, which may occasionally be open to spectators.
