Naturally you would you like to think that what you buy is made locally, and not from a factory far far away with an ‘Italy’ stamp on it. Luckily in Tuscany, artisans still exist even if you have to search a little harder for them in 2014.

When traveling to another country, one of the most intimidating aspects is navigating day to day interactions in another language. While it is true that in Italy many people speak a minimum of English, it would be wise to note that many menus are not translated from Italian which is why we wanted to write this blog post to help Italy travelers order delicious food without any stress of wondering what it is they are ordering.

While we may undoubtedly be a tad bit biased, we are absolutely in love with our area of the Mugello Valley and want to share this love around the world. While Tuscany is a household name, Mugello may not be as familiar to most but we want to tell you why it should be.
